Brandon Max — known as bmax — is the CTO and co-founder of Pursuit, where he's building AI-native procurement intelligence that helps companies sell into the $2 trillion public sector market.
Before Pursuit, he was an early engineer at Wisely, where he built core infrastructure that helped the company reach a ~$200M acquisition. He cut his teeth at Adobe and Barracuda Networks, but he's been coding since he was 12 and freelancing since 14 — the kind of kid who learned how systems work by breaking them. He holds a computer science degree from Michigan State University and splits time between Ann Arbor, MI and Los Angeles.
At Pursuit, he and co-founder Mike Vichich are turning fragmented public data — including FOIA requests at scale — into the intelligence layer for public sector sales.
